Seedlings was a university design project to devise, design and develop a SaaS product which was socially responsible. The selected project was a mental health SaaS geared towards children during the COVID-19 pandemic, to help them understand and manage their emotions. The application was built with a Vue.js frontend and Laravel backend, bridged with Inertia.js.

It features a split dashboard: One for parents/guardians and a dedicated ‘kids’ mode for the end user. The dashboard features a list of professionals, a booking system and a means to communicate with the professional. The kids’ mode features interactive games and activities to help them understand their emotions and how to manage them. A professional on the platform, once booked, can then assign activities to help monitor and gather data on the child’s progress - which can then be shared to a parent.
